特徵描述

生活型

形態特徵

  • A deciduous tree, 2.5–4 m tall.
  • Leaves 8–15 cm long, 2.5–4.5 cm wide, acuminate or apiculate at apex, cuneate to rounded at base, serrate, nearly glabrous above, villose beneath, the midrib impressed above, raised beneath; petioles 1–1.5 cm long, pubescent.
  • Flowers in terminal umbel about 5 cm long; pedicels glabrous, up to 1 cm long; calyx glabrous, shallowly 5-lobed, the lobes broadly triangular; petals white, obovate, clawed at base, 4 mm long, 3 mm wide.
  • Fruits subglobose or ellipsoid, 5–7 mm long, 5 mm across, red, the pedicels about 1 cm long.

分布

  • 台灣 : in broad-Leaved forests in the central and northern parts at an altitude of about 1,000 meters.
  • 世界 : Southern China.
